Rate Limits & Quotas
Understand the usage limits and quotas for each Postject plan tier.

Free Plan
The Free plan allows 100 emails per day with a daily reset at UTC midnight. Key details:
- Sending is paused when the daily limit is reached — not charged
- A "Powered by Postject" branding footer is injected into every email
- Limited to 1 server
- Usage resets automatically at 00:00 UTC each day
Paid Plans
Paid plans (Starter, Growth, Professional, Scale) use monthly limits that reset on the first of each calendar month. No branding is injected into your emails.
If you exceed your monthly limit, you can enable overage protection in your billing settings to continue sending. Overages are charged at the per-1,000-email rate for your plan tier.
Usage Tracking
Usage is incremented when a message is queued, not when it is delivered. This means rejected or failed messages still count toward your usage limit.
You can check your current usage programmatically via the analytics API:
Upgrading Your Plan
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from the Account Settings page in the dashboard. Plan changes take effect immediately, and your usage limit is adjusted accordingly.
